ID Definition
Instructional Design (Baek, 2018) is a systematic and systemic process for the creation of educational resources. It is often viewed as a "problem solving" process. Instructional Design (ID) usually be viewed as a "problem solving" process.

ADDIE Model
The ADDIE model, which has been in use for more than 30 years, provides an easy and clear “roadmap” to roll out a course or training. As a new designer, I usually have a tendency to jump directly into “development” , but the ADDIE model provides me with a quick guide to secure a complete procedure which means there is no big hole to be ignored or missed.

Dick, Cary & Cary Model

Compared with the Instructional Mother Model of ADDIE, I prefer to utilize Dick, Cary & Cary Model to manage the real-life project. It is more comprehensive, lucid and systematic. The core of the Dick and Carey Model is about the relationships between educational content, context, learning behavior, and instructional technique. Dick and Carey state that "Components such as the instructor, learners, materials, instructional activities, delivery system, and learning and performance environments interact with each other and work together to deliver learner-desired outcomes”. All of these vital components are addressed in their 9-step approach to Instructional Design.

SAM Model

As an instructional designer, we often struggled with time and budget. The Successive Approximation Model (SAM) is an agile and flexible model.

Savvy star roles and responsibility lists all detailed duties for the right team;
-
The model seriously considers how the money should be involved;
-
the model provides users two options to utilize the model: 2 phases (Preparation+Iterative Design) for a simple project; 3 phases (Preparation + Iterative Design + Iterative Development) for a more complexed project.
